By 2026, Hollow Knight: Silksong has settled into its place as a demanding, beautiful pilgrimage through Pharloom, and one of the earliest Wishes still catches travelers before they have learned the land’s sharper rules. The Lost Fleas sends Hornet after five wayward pilgrims scattered across The Marrow, Hunter’s March, Deep Docks, and Far Fields. It is a collect-a-thon, yes, but it is also a small story about a caravan master named Fleamaster Mooshka, a handful of frightened insects, and the quiet reward of bringing a traveling family back together. Hornet does not stumble into the task by accident; she follows rumors, listens for distress, and learns that even a sidequest can demand patience, pogo timing, and a little violence against vines and cages.
How the Wish Begins
There are two ways for Hornet to begin The Lost Fleas. The first is to find the flea caravan and speak with Fleamaster Mooshka. The second is to read the quest board in Bone Bottom after donating 200 Shell Shards to the repair effort. Either path leads back to the same place: Mooshka’s caravan, where the flea master waits with a worried expression and a list of missing pilgrims. Hornet may need to speak with him twice before the Wish activates, a small quirk that has tripped up more than one eager traveler. Once the task is live, the search begins in earnest.
Five Wayward Pilgrims
Fleas are spread throughout several early-game areas. A faint struggling sound, like a small dog yipping, can guide Hornet when the visual trail goes cold. The first flea is close to the caravan, but the rest pull Hornet into tougher rooms and one notoriously difficult detour.
#
Area
What Hornet Must Do
1
The Marrow
Travel northwest of the caravan, head west over broken platforms, pass the giant skull, and follow the path upward to the northeasternmost point. Look down to the southeast, jump onto the lower platform, and attack the vines trapping the flea.
2
Hunter’s March
Head east and pogo across the first gap using the shriveled orange fruits. Fight or run past the red ant, then use three downward strikes to ascend the first three fruits and repeat on the next set of six. At the first ledge, turn left and pogo to the higher ledge, follow the path up and right, and attack the cage. The dash ability from Deep Docks makes this far easier.
3
Deep Docks
From the Bellway fast travel point, head west into the room with falling lava. Time the jumps to reach the west side, continue up and right, and walk over the flea in the northeastern part of the room, just past a lava stream. No attack is needed.
4
Deep Docks
Go further north, east of the bench closest to the Marrow exit. Run west, jumping and dashing to a small platform in the northwest part of the area. A lever can raise or lower the weight if Hornet needs an extra foothold.
5
Far Fields
Start east of Deep Docks and head immediately east to an illusory wall. Strike it several times to open the passage, jump up the platforms, and enter the narrow passage to the east. A trap raises a cage while a red ant attacks; smash the cage, defeat the ant, and continue east to find the final flea in a similar cage.
Hunter’s March is the sharpest test of the five. The red ant is dangerous, and the fruit-bouncing route punishes sloppy angles. Hornet’s downward attack must be timed with care, especially on the six-fruit climb. Returning after obtaining the dash is a sensible choice, and the nearby Deep Docks shrine makes that upgrade a natural stop. The third and fourth fleas are gentler by comparison, though the lava room in Deep Docks still asks for clean jumps and a calm hand. The fifth flea hides behind deception: an illusory wall, a trap, and a final cage. It is a fitting last note for a quest that keeps turning small discoveries into small victories.
The Caravan’s Reward
Once all five fleas are safe, Hornet returns to Fleamaster Mooshka at the caravan. The first reward is passage with the Flea Caravan to Greymoor, which effectively unlocks that area instantly for anyone who has not already been there. The second is Flea Brew, a tool that grants a temporary boost to movement and attack speed. Hornet can equip it at a bench and use it by pressing Up+RB. If the brew runs out, Grishkin at the flea caravan provides a refill.
In 2026, The Lost Fleas remains a strong early example of what Silksong does well: it hides a simple rescue story inside a demanding map, then pays it off with mobility, a new route, and a useful tool. Hornet leaves the caravan with five fewer worries and one more reason to keep listening for tiny cries in the dark. The Wish is optional, but the journey is not forgettable. ?✨
Optional quests like The Lost Fleas are a reminder that the best rewards often come from curiosity rather than the main path. For players planning their next purchase—whether it is Silksong itself or another game to fill the backlog—DealNest makes it easy to compare prices here before committing.

Standing in formal attire under the intense equatorial sun demands a serious level of physical endurance. Many couples arrive from cooler mainland climates completely unprepared for the reality of heavy humidity, high temperatures, and the physical toll of a long portrait session. Ignoring your physical comfort on your wedding day leads directly to flushed skin, exhausted expressions, and a desperate urge to end the photography early. The most distinguished Hawaii wedding photographers understand that beautiful art cannot be created if the subjects are physically miserable. They actively manage your wellness throughout the day, implementing specific strategies to keep you hydrated, cool, and energized so you look completely radiant in every single frame.
Hydration is the absolute cornerstone of a successful outdoor event. Drinking a single glass of water in the morning is simply not enough to sustain your body through hours of posing, walking, and celebrating. You must begin aggressively hydrating the day before the ceremony and continue sipping water consistently throughout the preparation period. A thoughtful photography team often travels with an insulated cooler filled with ice water, offering frequent breaks specifically to force the couple to drink. When your body is properly hydrated, your skin retains a healthy, glowing appearance, and you avoid the sudden headaches and dizzy spells that frequently ruin outdoor celebrations in tropical environments.
Temperature management requires strategic scheduling and a deep understanding of the local environment. A competent professional will outright refuse to schedule a two-hour portrait session at noon when the sun is directly overhead and the heat is at its absolute peak. Instead, they divide the required photographs into shorter, highly efficient blocks. They might capture fifteen minutes of imagery immediately following the morning preparation, take a long break indoors, and resume the session in the late afternoon when the temperatures drop and the coastal breeze picks up. This staggered approach prevents your body from overheating and ensures your formalwear remains clean and dry.
Providing physical relief during the shoot is just as important as the timing. If you are walking across a hot, sandy beach or walking through a grassy estate, your feet will quickly become sore and blistered in stiff formal shoes. Experienced professionals strongly advise couples to bring a pair of comfortable, easily removable sandals or walking shoes for transit between specific photo locations. You only slip on the high heels or formal leather oxfords right before the camera is raised. Furthermore, the photographer will actively seek out heavily shaded areas—such as the canopy of a large banyan tree or the shadow of a coastal cliff—allowing you to cool down between specific poses.
Managing your blood sugar is the final, necessary step in maintaining your energy. Couples are notoriously bad at remembering to eat on their wedding day, often skipping lunch due to nervous excitement or a tight hair and makeup schedule. When your blood sugar crashes during an afternoon portrait session, your patience disappears completely. Keeping small, protein-rich snacks readily available in your transit vehicle provides a necessary fuel source that keeps your mood elevated. A photographer who pays attention to your physical cues will notice when your smile begins to look strained and will immediately call for a five-minute break to allow you to rest and refuel.
Your physical comfort dictates the success of your visual narrative. When you feel energized, cool, and well-rested, your posture improves, your expressions become genuine, and your interactions with your partner feel effortless. By treating your tropical portrait session with the same physical preparation you would apply to an athletic event, you guarantee that you look and feel spectacular from the first look to the final dance.
Conclusion
Ignoring the physical realities of a tropical climate leads to exhaustion and discomfort that immediately translates to your final gallery. Proactively managing hydration, temperature, and blood sugar ensures you remain fully energized, radiant, and happy throughout your entire outdoor session.
Call to Action
Secure a creative team that prioritizes your physical comfort and well-being, ensuring you look perfectly refreshed and radiant in every single photograph.

Hello everyone.
Our company is planning a two-day conference in Phoenix this spring, and we want professional video coverage that we can use for marketing, internal training, and social media. We’re considering a local videographer who handles corporate events, but I’m unsure what to expect.
Corporate event coverage details are something I’m struggling to pin down, such as how many hours are typically included and what the final delivery looks like. How much should we budget for event video in Phoenix?
Is it better to hire one person or a full crew? If you’ve hired a corporate event videographer in the Phoenix area, I’d appreciate your recommendations and any lessons learned.

In Hollow Knight: Silksong, a player who ignores red tools is essentially bringing a butter knife to a clockwork siege. The tools are there, they are angry, and they would very much like to be thrown at bosses. Yet many wanderers treat their red tool slots like a decorative spice rack — nice to look at, rarely used, and occasionally dusted with regret. That is a mistake. Crafting Kits are the remedy, and Pharloom hides exactly four of them. Each kit makes tools hit harder, and each one asks for a wallet that has been fed a steady diet of Rosaries. As of 2026, the arithmetic remains stubbornly the same: four kits, four price tags, one very sore purse.
A quick overview helps before the shopping spree begins:
Kit
Location
Source
Cost
Prerequisite
#1
Deep Docks
Forge daughter
180 Rosaries
None worth mentioning
#2
Greymoor
Creige
Free (quest reward)
Restore Bellhart, then take Crawbug Clearing
#3
The Underworks
The Architect
450 Rosaries
Act 2 and Clawline
Crafting Kit #1: Deep Docks and the Forge Daughter’s Reasonable Robbery
The first kit is sold by the forge daughter in Deep Docks, and it is the closest thing to a bargain in this entire enterprise. At 180 Rosaries, it is cheap enough that a prudent player should grab it early, before the local wildlife develops opinions about their health bar. This purchase is the gateway drug to actual tool usage: Straight Pins fly straighter, Sting Shards sting harder, and bosses begin to wonder why the floor is suddenly full of unpleasant surprises. A player who skips this kit is like a gardener who owns a shed full of seeds and plants only regret.
Crafting Kit #2: Greymoor, Creige, and the Crawbug Census
The second kit is not purchased at all, which makes it the sentimental favorite. Once Bellhart has been restored to something resembling normal by defeating The Widow, a fresh wishboard appears with requests. One of them, Crawbug Clearing, sends the player to Creige in Greymoor’s Halfway House. Creige wants 25 flying nuisances removed from the sky. Small Crawbugs drop 1 quest item; the bigger ones drop 3. Collect every piece, return to Creige, and the next Crafting Kit is handed over with the quiet satisfaction of a job well done. This quest is less a chore and more a pest-control subscription with a damage upgrade attached.
Crafting Kit #3: The Underworks and the Architect’s Audacity
The third kit requires Act 2 and the Clawline ability. After surviving The Cauldron — a place that treats safety regulations as a rumor — the Architect becomes available as a shopkeeper. This is the same bug responsible for all those clockwork creations that have been hunting the player with unreasonable enthusiasm. Awkward? Yes. Convenient? Also yes. The Architect sells a Crafting Kit for 450 Rosaries, which is the sort of price that makes a wallet curl up like a dried leaf. Still, the damage boost is real, and the player can comfort themselves by imagining the Architect spending the money on a tiny clockwork retirement fund.
Crafting Kit #4: Blasted Steps and Grindle’s Premium Piracy
The fourth and final kit waits in the Blasted Steps map, up and left from the Bell Beast Station. Reaching Grindle’s shop is not a casual stroll: the cave walls slope in a way that demands the Faydown Cloak. That means completing Mount Fay first, a challenge that has reduced many confident players to a puddle of muttered apologies. Once the cloak is earned, Grindle will sell the final kit for 700 Rosaries. Yes, 700. Grindle is not so much a shopkeeper as a toll booth with a personality disorder. But this purchase pushes tools to maximum power, and a fully upgraded Cogfly swarm can turn a crowded arena into a very loud, very satisfying mess.
The Verdict: Buy the Kits, Use the Tools, Stop Suffering Politely
A player who collects all four Crafting Kits will notice a sharp difference in tool damage. The early kit is cheap, the second is free with effort, and the last two are expensive enough to require actual Rosary farming. Still, the payoff is difficult to argue with. Tools are not decorative trinkets; they are extra damage, crowd control, and the difference between a graceful victory and a frantic apology to the nearest bench. In 2026, the advice remains gloriously simple: find the kits, pay the outrageous prices, and let the red tools do the talking. The bosses will not like it, but they were never asked.
If the cost of late-game upgrades has you thinking more carefully about value, that same instinct is worth applying before paying full price for the next title on your list. DealNest keeps an eye on discounts and price drops, making it a practical place to check for game deals today before committing your budget.

Even in 2026, with countless guides and patch notes floating around, Hollow Knight: Silksong still has a few spots that make players want to pull their hair out. The Mist is one of them. This eerie, ghost-filled puzzle area isn’t your typical point-A-to-point-B dungeon. It’s a loop, a trap, and a test of patience all rolled into one. The good news? Once a player understands the firefly trick, the whole thing becomes a lot less of a headache — though it’s still no walk in the park.
Where Exactly Is The Mist? ?️
Players can reach The Mist surprisingly early. As soon as they unlock the ability to hop off walls — which happens in Act 1 — they’re good to go. From there, head to Greymoor’s Halfway Home and climb the ledge on the right side of the map. Keep going up until the area tops out, and that’s the entrance to Sinner’s Road. Don’t let the small size fool you; Sinner’s Road is deadly, and it’s easy to overlook the hidden passage near the ceiling at the top of the first vertical climb. Head all the way west through that passage, and bam — welcome to The Mist. ?️
It’s worth noting that The Mist is one of the only alternate routes into the Citadel that doesn’t involve kicking down the front door. It takes more traversal and a heck of a lot more secrecy, but for players who like to color outside the lines, it’s a refreshing change of pace.
What’s Waiting to Kill You ?
First-time visitors usually meet one of two fates: they get hugged to death by ghosts, or they fall into the abyss. The ghost problem is the bigger headache. There’s exactly one enemy type in The Mist — phantoms — and they’re not the friendly kind. They idle around until a player gets too close, then they shriek and chase like their lives depend on it. And honestly? They’re relentless. One hug from these specters will drain Hornet’s life force fast, so don’t get it twisted: these aren’t cuddly Casper types.
The second threat is falling. Normally, a little tumble doesn’t cost much beyond a bit of pride. But in The Mist, dropping into the fog sends the player right back to the beginning of the area. No damage, no lost progress — just a frustrating reset. Add in the fact that the developers scattered traps all over the place, and players will want to watch their feet and keep their ears tuned. ?
How to Actually Get Out ?
Here’s where things get interesting. The Mist isn’t a normal area — it’s an endless loop, and brute-forcing it is a fool’s errand. Roughly five different sections need to be solved precisely, and even then, luck plays a role. The first and only hint comes right at the entrance: firefly-like sprites drifting into the fog alongside the player. These little guys are the key to everything.
Scattered throughout each area, the sprites are just waiting for a tune. Players need to approach one and play it a little song by holding down the designated button for their platform. Here’s the breakdown:
Platform
Button to Hold
Xbox
Y
PlayStation
Triangle
Switch
X
PC
D
Hold that button long enough, and the sprites will start flying toward an exit. That exit is the correct one. They’re essentially leading the way, and their flight path is usually straight to the solution — so keep your eyes peeled. Sometimes they zip across the whole area, so players might need to find another group of fireflies if they lose track.
Once the firefly trick is done and the correct exit is found, players will pop out into the Exhaust Organ. And if they want to wipe The Mist off the map entirely? They’ll need to defeat the boss of that giant cathedral. No pressure, right? ?
So there it is: The Mist is a puzzle, a ghost gauntlet, and a patience tester all in one. But with a little firefly whispering and some careful platforming, even the spookiest fog can’t keep a determined player down. Just remember — in 2026, this area still claims plenty of victims. Don’t be one of them. ?️

In 2026, Hollow Knight: Silksong's optional Sinner's Road questline remains one of Pharloom's grimmest errands. The Roach Guts Wish asks players to harvest ten guts from muckroaches, dog-like bugs that have become a notorious mid-game nuisance. The reward is a useful trap tool, but the route is neither clean nor quick. For anyone still mapping Sinner's Road after the game's launch window, the quest is a test of patience, positioning, and nail discipline.
Sinner's Road is an optional side area northeast of Greymoor. Crull and Benjin, the two hungry bugs behind the Wish, live in a room two exits east of the Sinner's Road bench, in the top-right corner. The chamber is marked by hanging boxes and platforms on the map sold by Shakra, who can be found left of the bench. Reaching the house requires pogoing off several swinging star-maces suspended from the ceiling.
After speaking with Crull, players should accept his offer. That action starts the collection phase and allows roach guts to drop from muckroaches in the area. The requirement is ten guts. Muckroaches are the same aggressive, dog-like bugs that many players first meet while entering Sinner's Road. They deal two masks of damage if they connect, and a single misstep can turn a routine fight into a disaster.

?️ Where to Find Muckroaches
Muckroaches appear in several Sinner's Road locations, but two rooms are the main farming spots. The first is connected to Greymoor in the southwest corner. The second is the top horizontal room on the east side. The first option is generally the best: it is easier and less perilous to reach from the Sinner's Road bench, and it contains no fewer than four muckroaches. Players can separate or group them depending on their build and comfort level.
Room
Location
Why it matters
First room
Connected to Greymoor, southwest corner
Best route from the bench; at least four muckroaches
Second room
Top horizontal room on east side
Alternative spawn room for repeated runs
The bugs are not hard in the traditional sense; they are tedious. Their leap attacks can chain up to two forward lunges, so greedy nail combos are punished. A practical approach is to hit once and step back, letting the muckroach commit to its response. Sting Shard or Silkshot traps can eliminate them quickly without putting Hornet in range. When silk is available, Silkspear offers a fast way to clear a muckroach and reduce the chance of a snowballing mistake.
⚔️ Combat Tips for Muckroaches
Use Sting Shard or Silkshot traps to remove muckroaches from a safe distance.
For nail combat, strike once and retreat immediately.
Do not attack more than once with the nail at a time; muckroaches can leap forward up to two times.
Build silk and use Silkspear to finish a muckroach quickly.
Keep the fight in open space so the bugs cannot corner Hornet against platforms or hanging boxes.
Each defeated muckroach drops one roach gut. Once ten are collected, players should return to Crull and Benjin at their home in the central chamber. The two are hungry, and the quest does not complete until the guts are handed over. In return, they award the Tacks trap. The item can be equipped at the next bench and is designed for enemies that walk or slam into the ground. It can also be reconstructed with shards, making it a practical addition for players who expect to revisit Sinner's Road or other ground-heavy encounters.
The quest is not among Silksong's most glamorous. It is, however, a compact example of the game's side content: a grim request, a hostile route, and a reward that quietly improves combat options. In 2026, with routes and maps widely shared, the Roach Guts Wish remains less about discovery and more about execution. Players who respect the muckroach's two-leap pattern and avoid overcommitting will finish the hunt with ten guts, one Tacks trap, and a little less affection for the dogs of Sinner's Road.
Optional objectives that hand over a new tool tend to reshape how players approach later encounters, and that same appetite for discovery often carries over into other action-adventure games. Comparing release schedules, editions, and discounts is part of that hunt, and DealNest game deals offers a straightforward place to check current offers before committing to a purchase.
Whether the next goal is another Metroidvania or a different genre built around exploration and timing, having a reliable discount source makes it easier to experiment without overspending. DealNest keeps the focus on value, so players can spend less time hunting for price drops and more time learning enemy patterns, mapping routes, and enjoying the games themselves.

In Hollow Knight: Silksong, rosaries are less a casual pickup and more the game's circulatory system: they keep tools, keys, upgrades, and stringing options moving. For 2026 playthroughs, the most practical advice is still the same: quests come first, and repeatable enemy loops come second. A good farming route is less a gold mine than a water wheel, rewarding the player who keeps the same motion clean and repeatable. The methods below are organized by progression, and most can be repeated indefinitely without relying on one-time rewards.
Quests Before Grinding
Before any enemy route, players should clear available quests. Granting wishes frequently pays out in rosary beads and occasionally unique items. In the early game, quests appear often in Bone Bottom; later, they surface in Bellhart, Songclave, and any settlement with a population larger than two. Unless a player is certain a quest reward is unwanted, questing should be prioritized over farming. It is the difference between collecting rain in a bucket and waiting for a storm.
Act 1 Early Game: The Deep Docks Bench Loop
Most natural enemies in Silksong do not drop rosaries; they drop Shell Shards. That makes early farming spots scarce. One reliable exception sits at the top left of Deep Docks, where a bench is placed beside an enemy that drops seven rosaries per kill. The loop is simple: kill, return to the bench, sit, and repeat. Each repetition takes roughly 10 to 15 seconds, producing about 35 rosaries per minute or 2,100 per hour.
That rate is modest, but the route is useful for players eyeing the Simple Key in Bone Bottom. The early Deep Docks bench loop is the game's pocket metronome: tick, kill, sit, reset. It is also a good moment to begin stringing rosaries by buying beads from Bone Bottom's shopkeeper, since losing a large loose stash after two deaths is a familiar Silksong tragedy.
Act 1 Late Game: Greymoor and the Halfway Home Bench
Once players have the Cling Grip, have saved Bellhart, and ideally have claimed the free first nail upgrade from the Pinmaster, the Greymoor route becomes available. From the Halfway Home bench, two screen transitions to the right lead to a gang of three Citadel enemies. Killing all three yields around 30 rosaries in total.
Repetitions take about 20 to 25 seconds, which is longer than the Deep Docks loop but more efficient overall. With the Shard Pendant equipped, the route also produces useful Shell Shards. Efficient play can reach roughly 90 rosaries per minute, or about 5,400 per hour. An alternative bench between Shellwood and Bone Bottom exists, but the travel is trickier and usually evens out unless a player optimizes it carefully.
Act 2 Early Game: Choral Chambers Bellway
For this segment, players should have explored the Citadel enough to find the Bellway at the bottom left of the Choral Chambers. A second nail upgrade is preferable, though not mandatory. Two Citadel enemies sit just outside the Bellway, making the route easy to reset. Each repetition still yields around 30 rosaries; the advantage is distance.
With the Charge Slash and Silkspeed Anklets, repetitions can fall to 15 or 20 seconds. Four reps per minute translates to about 120 rosaries per minute, or 7,200 per hour. This is only slightly faster than the Greymoor method, but the shorter transition makes it more comfortable for players who prefer low-variance loops.
Act 2 Late Game: The Cogwork Core Guard Hallway
Late in Act 2, players can farm the large Citadel guards that patrol the path to the Cogwork Core. This route demands confidence, because taking hits can cost rosaries. The Thief's Mask, found by using wings to reach the Thief's Den in Blasted Steps, increases income substantially. The Barbed Bracelet is also recommended for double damage against enemies, supporting a no-hit approach.
The loop runs down the long hallway, killing guards for 55 rosaries each, then benching at the Cogwork Core, running back, and benching at Songclave. A full repetition yields around 150 rosaries. At 45 seconds per rep, that is roughly 9,000 rosaries per hour. The Cogwork Core hallway turns into a rosary abacus, with each guard sliding another bead across the frame. This rate is high enough that most players will rarely need more than a few thousand rosaries on hand.

Practical Advice for 2026 Runs
Players should not feel obligated to grind for an hour. Most money-gated items are optional, and quests often cover the gap more pleasantly. When a large purchase is imminent, stringing rosaries at Bone Bottom is a sensible safety measure. The best route depends on progression, comfort with combat, and whether Shell Shards are also needed. In 2026, the core logic remains clear: quest first, bench second, and choose the loop that fits the current act rather than the one with the biggest theoretical number.
Once the rosary routes and upgrades are sorted, many players turn their attention to the next PC game waiting in their backlog. DealNest gathers PC game discounts in one place, making it easier to compare current promotions before spending on another title.

I still remember the first time I stumbled into the Great Conchflies’ arena in Hollow Knight: Silksong. I was climbing the Blasted Steps from Shellwood, minding my own business, when two shell-winged troublemakers decided to turn a quiet platforming route into a theater of ricochets and burrowed ambushes. Honestly, I expected a gimmick. What I got was one of the most fair, silly, and memorable optional fights in the game. Even in 2026, on a fresh replay, this battle remains a highlight—partly because it feels like a boss that could have belonged in the original Hollow Knight, and partly because losing here is a punishment I would not wish on anyone.
Finding the Arena ?
The Great Conchflies are optional. They sit between me and the nail art Needle Strike, which is taught by the Pinstress on the far west side of the Blasted Steps map. The arena waits before her, so if I want that reward, I have to deal with the flies first. The route is not complicated, but it is easy to miss if I am simply following the critical path. From the Shellwood entrance:
Go up wherever possible after entering from Shellwood.
Use the bench above as a checkpoint.
Climb the room west of the bench to enter the center vertical chamber.
Exit the vertical chamber using the first left at the chamber’s midway point.
Jump left across several platforms guarded by smaller conchflies.
That last stretch is a gentle warning: if the little ones are already pinging shells at me, the big ones will be less polite.
Reading the Two Moves ⚔️
The fight itself is refreshingly simple. There are no fancy phases, no dramatic transformations, and no need to memorize a dozen tells. The Great Conchflies have two main attacks, plus the awkward pressure of fighting two enemies at once. That simplicity is a trap, though. The run back from the nearest bench is long—trust me, that bench feels leagues away after a loss—so I recommend studying the moves before committing. I also like to practice against the smaller conchflies in the area, because learning to deal with their projectiles is half the battle.
Attack
What Happens
How I Handle It
Pinburrow
One or both conchflies burrow into a wall and reappear from the arena’s edges. They can do this individually or together.
I keep my dash precise and minimal, avoid floating in the air, and set traps as soon as they go off-screen.
Pin Shot
A conchfly fires a small shell that ricochets off walls.
I side-step when possible, but I also hit the shell to destroy it or send it back.
The Pinburrow is the move I see most. It also gives the fight its personality. The conchflies are not just projectiles with wings; they feel like two mischievous performers popping out of trapdoors. One moment they are gone, the next they are announcing themselves from a wall I forgot to watch. Because they can burrow individually or simultaneously, I have to keep an eye on every wall. My general rule is to stay grounded, dash only when I mean it, and never drift upward just because I am nervous. Floating is for special circumstances—not for panicking.
Pin Shot is the quieter threat. A small conch shell flies out and bounces around the arena, which can make a simple dodge feel like a pinball problem. I can side-step it, but I prefer to hit it. Destroying the shell or ricocheting it back at the conchflies feels good, and it keeps the arena less cluttered. The timing matters: during this attack, the other conchfly usually does not appear until after the shell has fired. Then the one that fired burrows away, and within one or two attack cycles they will try a synchronized Pinburrow. That is the moment I brace myself. And yeah, I learned the hard way that “one or two cycles” is not a lot of breathing room.
The Real Reward ?
I do not need to overcomplicate the fight. My job is to juggle these two pesky flies until one of them falls. That is the whole goal. Once one is defeated, its partner roars and retreats. There is no immediate reward in the arena—no shiny prize, no victory lap. The real reward is the path onward. To claim it, I continue platforming left of the area and reach the Pinstress for the hidden nail art. That is why the Great Conchflies matter. They are a gatekeeper, but a fair one.
What I appreciate most is the fight’s sense of humor. The Great Conchflies are silly in the best way—two shell-bound ruffians with a shared sense of timing and absolutely no respect for my aerial plans. They are also a nice little challenge on the summit of the Blasted Steps, more often found by accident than on purpose. If I had known about the Needle Strike earlier, I might have sought them out deliberately. Instead, I found them by wandering, lost the first attempt because I panicked in the air, and then came back with a plan. That plan was simple: stay calm, watch the walls, hit the shells, and do not turn a precise dash into a leap of faith.
For anyone chasing Needle Strike in 2026, my advice is unchanged. Treat the Great Conchflies as a two-move boss, not a chaotic duo. Practice on the smaller conchflies, learn the rhythm of Pin Shot into Pinburrow, and respect the long walk back. Victory is non-negotiable if the reward is the goal, but the fight is fair enough that victory never feels out of reach. Just keep your feet on the ground, your eyes on both walls, and your dashes honest. The conchflies will do the rest—loudly, theatrically, and with far too much confidence for two flying shells.
Part of the fun of a game like this is that it rewards patience and preparation, and the same mindset can help when you are deciding what to play next. If you like to keep an eye on discounts while you work through a tough challenge or plan a future purchase, DealNest offers a straightforward game price tracker for following prices without turning deal-hunting into another boss fight.
It is a useful companion for anyone who prefers to spend less time refreshing store pages and more time actually playing—whether that means returning to a tricky arena with a better plan or finding the next hidden gem to explore.

Bilewater is the kind of place that makes me want to apologize to my controller. It is dank, dark, soaked in poison, and — worst of all — Shakra seems to have taken a personal holiday when you need her most. In Silksong, maps usually come from that traveling merchant, but Bilewater flips the script: you have to reach her before you can buy a map. As of 2026, this is still the route I use, and it still feels like navigating a haunted dishwasher.
I am not a speedrunner. I play these games with a mug of tea, a lot of sighing, and the firm belief that every poison puddle was put there specifically to insult me. So when I say the Bilewater map run is doable, I mean it is doable for ordinary players who are willing to prepare first. The whole trek is a Rube Goldberg machine built from bad plumbing and worse footing, but once you know the sequence, it stops feeling random.
Before You Go: The Ability Checklist
Do not march into Bilewater half-ready. You need double jump, wall jump, and glide before this route makes sense. I learned that the hard way, which is a polite way of saying I fell into poison water several times and made a sad little noise each time.
Ability
Where to get it
Notes
Double jump
Mount Fay, at a shrine left of The Slab
You need the grappling hook first
Wall jump
Shellwood, past Sister Splinter
Boss fight required
Glide
Far Fields
Complete the sidequest 'Flexile Spines'
I recommend getting all three before exploring too deep into Bilewater. A map is useful; a map plus the movement tools to survive the trip is much better. ?
Finding Shakra In Bilewater
Start from Whispering Vaults. In the large eastern area, use the platforms you can push and pull to climb to the upper-right corner of the room. There is a hidden passage there. Continue right into the next area.
As soon as you enter, drop down one level and keep going right. At the end of this path, you will see a pendulum with a ring attached to it hanging from the ceiling. Jump up and attack it so Hornet lodges her needle in it. Her weight pulls it down, which opens the way forward.
Continue down, then right through the passage that opens up. Be careful not to land on the circular saws. At the end of the hall, drop through the gap and use the glide ability to avoid the spikes. Fall all the way down into the next area.
From there, head right through the water, then jump up and over another platform. You will fall into the next area. Head left and drop down, dashing right before you hit the ground so you land on the wooden platform that juts out. Continue right until the path ends, drop down again, and head left. You will reach another hole that drops you onto the next level. Take the area exit to your left.
There is another hole as soon as you enter the next area. Drop down and keep running left. Eventually, you will see a sign for the Bellway fast travel system to the right. Continue right through the next area, dodging enemies and pogo jumping over the bubbles to avoid the poisoned water.
Using wall jump and dash, head up to a higher platform on the right. Keep wall jumping and dashing all the way to the area exit in the upper-right corner of the room. Just beyond it, you will find Shakra. She sells the Bilewater map for 90 Rosaries. I hope you saved up, because this is not the moment to discover you spent everything on tools.
What To Do The Second You Have The Map
Go straight to the closest bench. Seriously. Save your game, adjust your equipment, and lock in a checkpoint before you do anything brave or stupid. From Shakra, run left back to the long vertical room you entered through. Drop to the very bottom and run left through another, shorter corridor. Exit left, and in the next vertical room, drop to the bottom again.
In the room immediately to the right, you will find both a bench and a fast travel point. Unlock both before continuing. This is the part where Bilewater starts to feel less like a punishment and more like a very ugly neighborhood.
Just to the left, you will encounter the Exhaust Organ, a large room with another bench, a lost flea in the northwest, and the Phantom boss. After defeating Phantom, you can unlock the Cross Stitch parry ability and an elevator that takes you up to The Cauldron.
Other Important Bilewater Stops
Up in the northeastern part of the map, in an area called Bilehaven, you will find an arena battle that ends with Groal the Great. Beyond that boss, there is a hidden passage to a Lore Tablet and a Seeker's Soul for the 'Silk and Soul' sidequest.
Another bench is southeast of Groal, behind an illusory wall two levels down. Behind the same wall, you can also find a Memory Locket and a Lore Tablet. Another lost flea is just to its northwest.
If you head west and down through the vertical chamber, then right and straight up, you will find the Quick Sling tool, which lets you throw twice as many throwables at once. Around that route, you can also find a Mask Shard. Head back down and right from there, and you will find another Mask Shard.
There are more collectibles and enemies around Bilewater, but these are the big priorities. Grab the map, claim at least one bench, and only then start poking at Bilewater's nastier corners. Your future self will thank you — probably with fewer poison-induced sighs.
If you’re the kind of player who likes to have the next metroidvania lined up before the credits roll, it also pays to keep an eye on what you’re spending. Game prices shift often across storefronts, and a little patience can mean more room in the budget for DLC, soundtracks, or the occasional ill-advised impulse buy.
That’s where DealNest’s game price tracker comes in handy: it helps you compare current prices and spot discounts without checking every store manually. Whether you’re hunting for Silksong or just building a wishlist, it’s a straightforward way to avoid paying more than you need to.
Değişen pazar koşullarına hızla adapte olurken temel kullanıcı kitlesinin değerlerini göz ardı etmeyen markalar, rekabetin yoğun olduğu her alanda fark yaratacaktır.
